The tempo of the read is fast and furious as these two cannot get enough of each other. The plot is expertly crafted as the horrific events are retold through Ronan and Sasha’s flashbacks from the past. The brotherhood of the Irish Mob is strong and these men will do anything to protect their women. With a perfect blend of action, passion, romance, and grit, the characters captivated me through each and every moment. Told in dual POV, Reaper is my absolute favorite type of read. “My love for him burns hotter than the sun.” When Sasha decides to break all ties with him, it is Ronan who stakes his claim and refuses to let her go. Sasha is desperate to break through and help him find peace in her arms. This was how he was molded into the killer he became.
Just the description of Reaper's 'training' as youth was a challenging, gasping, graphic description of torture. Be warned - it's gruesome, disturbing and very confronting. She currently lives in the Northwest with her lumberjack and an entire brood of fur babies.
