One I’m not privy to as an only child, but I’ve seen it happen enough to get the point. I don’t know much about sibling dynamics, but apparently their friends are off limits when it comes to dating. They met when he was 8 years old and her family sort of adopted him as one of their own.

I know I’d be laid out if I attempted to move a keg by myself. I’m not sure if this is a barometer for her heart condition, or just something most would find difficult. She’s in distress while moving a beer keg, for instance. Throughout the novel everyone around Darcy treats her like she’s a porcelain doll about to shatter. I love our tough, take no bullsh*t heroine who was born with a mess of problems, including a weak heart. There was something missing here that the other two had and I can’t quite put my finger on what. That’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy it, because I truly did. Both, as it turns out, are easily 5 star reads, but 99 Percent Mine fell slightly short for me. Most people started by reading The Hating Game, but I began with Second First Impressions. Sally Thorne is officially one of those authors that I will automatically read now.
